Kansas City man arrested in Bates County

On 8/12/18 around 11:03am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 31 year old Genola E. Page of Kansas City, Missouri.

Mr. Page was arrested for 1.)Driving While Intoxicated - Drugs 2.)Possession of misdemanor marijuana 3.) Failure to register a motor vehicle.

He was booked into the Bates County Jail in Butler and placed on a 12 hour hold.

Butler man seriously injured in St.Clair County Crash

On 8/12/18 around 8:19am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County along with St. Clair County Deputies responded to a two vehicle head on crash around 7 miles east of Appleton City on Route A.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2015 Kia Optima driven by 54 year old Mark E. Mancuso of Butler, Missouri crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck the 2002 Pontiac Montana van driven by 48 year old John R. Parker of Wheatland, Missouri head on.

Mr. Mancuso sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

Mr. Parker sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Bray's Towing and C&H Towing.
