U.S. Senator Roy Blunt and Missouri State Senator Ed Emery visit Poplar Heights Farm

One of Bates County's treasures, Poplar Heights farm, hosted a short visit today from U.S. Senator Roy Blunt and Missouri State Senator Ed Emery.

Their visit gave me an opportunity to discuss some local issues with both, which is always critical to keeping our communication line open on a state and federal level.

Bryan Phillips gave some great background information on the historic farm.

I urge all to take the time to attend some of Poplar Heights various events that take place throughout the year and see it first hand.
