Impersonating an Officer in Lowry City

On Oct. 19, a St. Clair deputy was dispatched to Shelby’s Truck Stop in reference to someone impersonating an officer.

Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Aaron and Crystal Taylor. Mrs. Taylor stated she was pulled over by a small S.U.V. with red and blue lights at Highway C and Highway NN. She stated he was a tall, skinny white male with light colored hair and a light colored mustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark blue uniform with patches on the sleeves, carrying a gun and handcuffs.

Mrs. Taylor stated that the male subject stated if she wanted out of the ticket, she needed to show him her breasts. She moved her shirt to show her collar bone. The male subject stated that was not good enough and to step out of the car. Mrs. Taylor stated she drove away at that point. She stated the male subject followed her into Lowry City. She turned into to the Dollar General Store. She stated the male subject turned towards Shelby’s Truck Stop.

The deputy has requested the video surveillance from Shelby’s Truck Stop.
