Medicalodges in Butler Easter Egg Hunt

Medicalodges of Butler will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th beginning at 1pm. Medicalodge is located at 103 E. Nursery in Butler.

The community is invited to attend and children 0-10 years of age will hunt for Easter eggs.

In addition to hunting for eggs there will be cotton candy and prizes as well as taking a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Come out and enjoy the fun.

Missing dog in Harrisonville

This adorable pup was found wandering near Hillside Apartments on E. Mechanic Street. He is very friendly and told me that he really wants to go home but doesn't remember his address.

From the Benton County Sheriff's Office

17 year old Andrew J. Floyd was certified as an adult today in court, for the alleged (remember, innocent until proven guilty) shooting of Warsaw's Chief of Police and shooting at deputy sheriffs from his stolen vehicle, which occurred on May 17th 2018.

Mr. Floyd was 16 when he was charged with multiple felonies for the shootings. Floyd is being held in another jurisdiction pending his trial.

Freeze Warning Tomorrow Morning

Although temperatures reached the mid 80s for many locations yesterday, a freeze warning is in effect for tomorrow morning.

Austin Black, Secretary of the Bates County Cattlemen Chapter, was nominated as an attendee for the 2019 Missouri Cattlemen's Leadership College.

Only 9 participants ages 25-40 are selected, and the purpose of this year-long class is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to advocate for the Missouri Cattlemen's Association throughout life and in their future membership.

This is the second installment of Austin's journey and he's not finished yet- Watch our page for more updates as he travels to feedlots in Kansas and Texas in the next installment. Great job, Austin!
