Ozark Drug Enforcement Team make bust in Lamar

On 10/9/20 Detectives with the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team and officers of the Lamar Police Department conducted a traffic stop in Lamar.

During the traffic stop multiple baggies containing suspected methamphetamine's were located. Also located in the vehicle was a illegal firearm.

Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle were found to have felony active warrants for their arrests. They were identified as Christoper Powell of Vinita, Oklahoma and Daniel Roberts of Jasper, Missouri. 

The ODET Detectives and officers of the Lamar Police Department investigated the house that the vehicle was seen leaving prior to the stop. During this investigation additional baggies of suspected methamphetamine's and evidence of distribution was located inside the home.

Georgia Sauerwin of Lamar was placed under arrest and she is being held in the Barton County Jail on a no bond warrant for Distribution of a controlled substance.
