Henry County Health Center confirms 2 more COVID-19 related deaths

Henry County Health Center has received notification of two more deaths due to complications related to COVID-19. Both residents were from the town of Clinton.

The first was an 80-year-old female and the second was an 87-year-old male. This brings the total number of deaths in Henry County, due to complications related to COVID-19, to fourteen.

“During this difficult time, I encourage others to remember to follow the recommendations from the CDC to help limit the spread of this disease. It is heart wrenching each time another one of our residents passes due to this virus, and my heart goes out to their friends and families,” said the Henry County Health Center Administrator, Peggy Bowles. “I am pleading with each of you to wear a face covering, remain six feet apart, and wash your hands. It is the simple things that will help reduce the spread of this disease, and save lives.”
