Obituary - Donald L. Brock

Donald Lee Brock, 85, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 11th, 1935 in Petersburg, Indiana, the son of Cloyd and Dorothy (Rock) Brock of Centertown KY. He married his late wife Linda Lou (Martin) Brock on July 27th, 1957. Along with Linda, he is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Brock and sister Charlotte (Brock) Goodall. He is survived by his daughter Donna (Marvin) Mothersbaugh of Clinton, his son David (Laurie) Brock of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and his daughter Lisa (Kevin) Miller of Clinton. He adored his grandchildren: Dillon Mothersbaugh, Cody (Jodi) Mothersbaugh and Lynzie (Calvin) Mothersbaugh, Chris (Ali) Williams, Tyler (Sarah) Brock and Evelyn (Jako) Torres Chico, Bret Miller, Lane Miller, Trey Miller and 14 great-grandchildren; his brother Richard (Myra) Brock of Kingman AZ, sisters-in-law Joyce Barnes of Centertown, KY, Shirley Sue (Jim) Hurt of Owensboro, KY, Mary (Norman) Starnes of Centertown, KY and Electa Brock of Centertown, KY. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Donnie” by his many nieces and nephews. Donald served in the Army from 1959 to 1961 and was deployed to Korea during that conflict. Donald and Linda moved to Clinton in the early 1970’s. He retired from the City of Clinton after working several years at Englewood Cemetery. His greatest joy in life was attending Clinton High School sporting events where he was a fixture at games from the 1970’s until recently.
\ Graveside services and interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO. Services will be live streamed from Don’s Tribute Page at www.bradleyhadley.com.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 11th at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home. Masks or facial covering will be required at the visitation.
