Henry County Announces the Twenty-Third COVID-19 Related Death

Henry County Health Center has received notification from Truman Medical Center of a death due to complications related to COVID-19. This resident was a 75-year-old female that resided in the town of Clinton. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Henry County to 23.

“The most difficult part of the COVID-19 pandemic is losing our residents to the virus. To each of you who have lost loved ones to this virus, we are deeply sorry,” said the Henry County Health Center Administrator, Peggy Bowles. “With the beginning of the New Year, we challenge all Henry County residents to remain diligent and continue practicing the CDC recommendations. It is the simple things that will help reduce the spread of this disease, and could potentially save the lives of your family members.”
