Henry County Announces the Twenty-Seventh COVID-19 Related Death

The Henry County Health Center has received notification from CenterPoint Medical Hospital in Independence, MO of another death due to complications related to COVID-19. This hospitalized resident was a 57-year-old male from the town of Clinton. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Henry County to 27.

“The most difficult part of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is losing our residents to the virus. To each of you who have lost loved ones to this virus, we would like to express our condolences,” said the Henry County Health Center Administrator, Peggy Bowles.

“We encourage all Henry County residents to remain diligent and continue practicing the CDC recommendations. It is the simple things that will help reduce the spread of this disease, and could potentially save the lives or your family members.”
