Nevada Police Department makes arrest in robbery case

Nevada Police have concluded an investigation into a convenience store robbery that occurred on February 21st.

On Sunday February 21, 2021 at approximately 10:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Cash-N-Dash convenience store, located at 1502 W. Austin Boulevard, for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

It was reported that a male suspect entered the convenience store wearing black athletic pants with a white vertical stripe down the legs, grey hoodie, light colored face covering and black gloves. The suspect was described as average height and medium build. The suspect was reported to be armed with handgun and exited the building with an undisclosed amount of currency.

The subsequent investigation by Nevada Police led to the identification and arrest of a suspect on February 26, 2021. The suspect has been identified as follows:

Jeremy T. Boyd, age 41 of Moundville

On February 26, 2021 the following charges were filed against Jeremy T. Boyd through the Vernon County Associate Court:

Robbery 1st Degree - Class A Felony

Boyd is currently being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 cash only bond.
