News from the Appleton City School District

Appleton City School District will be utilizing our remote learning plan for the remainder of this week, at least. Students met with their advisory teachers first thing this morning to determine internet and computer access at home. Students who indicated a need for a computer at home were issued a chromebook to take home.

If you do not have internet access at home, your student has been instructed how to download Google classroom assignments during school today so they can work on those offline. They will then be able to upload those completed assignments when they return to school or when they are able to connect to the internet.

If your student brings a chromebook home, please help us by reminding them to bring it back when we return to school. Elementary students will be bringing home Chromebooks and/or packets today. Classroom teachers will schedule Google Meet times for students with internet access.

For students without internet access, packets are being sent home. Teachers will be in contact via Class Dojo, email, or through Google Meet. Look for more information from individual classroom teachers today.

Administrative staff will be at school Thursday and Friday if you need to pick up materials, or if you have questions.
Here is the schedule for Google meets for the junior high and high school:
9:00 – 9:30 1st hour
9:30 - 10:00 2nd hour
10:00-10:30 3rd hour
10:30-11:00 4th hour
11:00-11:30 5th hour
11:30-12:00 6th hour
12:00-12:30 7th hour
12:30-1:00 8th hour
*Students with internet access will be expected to log in and participate in the Google
*All assignments will be collected and will be counted for a grade.
