News from the Drexel R-4 School District

Good evening Bobcats! Many roads throughout the district are still very slick and we do not anticipate them getting better overnight. Therefore, we are cancelling school for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9th, 2021.

Additionally, this will be an AMI (virtual learning) day. Students in grades 7-12 will begin classes online at 8:30 with 1st hour.

Classes will change every 30 minutes with 7th hour ending at noon. Teachers will be available online to help students with assignments and answer questions via email until 3:35.

Grades 4 – 6 will login to “google meet” during regular class time for core classes. Parents can review procedures outlined in an email sent on Friday, February 5th.

Students in grades K-3 should complete instructional packets sent home on Friday, February 5th.

Attendance is expected and will be recorded. If internet access is an issue, please contact the Drexel School Office (816-652-0402) between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:35 PM to discuss the issue.
