Snow flurries are expected across the area today. Some bands of heavier snow are possible in Central MO along I-70. Slick roads and sidewalks are anticipated.

Prolonged frigid temperatures continue. Dangerous cold and piercing wind chills are expected this weekend with near record low temperatures.
