Obituary - Floyd Leonard Pugh II

Floyd Leonard Pugh II, of Holden, Missouri was born May 19, 1956 in San Diego, California the son of Richard Norman and Lynne Terry (Jordan) Pugh. He departed this life on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home at the age of 64 years, 11 months and 5 days.

Floyd was employed as a machinist. Later he was employed at Dollar General and Casey’s in Garden City, Missouri. Floyd was a Navy veteran. He was the Grand Marshall of the Garden City Fall Festival Parade in 2017. Floyd was a big animal lover and loved his dog Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Thomas Pugh Sr.

Floyd is survived by his mother and step-father, Lynne and Jim Jacobs, Garden City, Missouri; a brother Gregg Pugh and wife Cindy, Holden, Missouri; a sister, Noma “Cricket” Bailey and husband Steve, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; close friends, Jana Kurzweil, Stan and Lisa Owens and Jimmy Newcomb; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
