Papinville plans all set

The Papinville pre-planning committee met on Friday, March 26th. Many options were discussed for activities for 2021 with only one thing decided for sure that the Papinville Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 25th.
Many other activities were brought up and will be looked into further and discussed by Papinville officers and members at the regular business meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 13th. The meeting will be held at the shelter house at 6:30 pm.
They want to make this year’s picnic special as they will be celebrating the 200th Birthday of the State of Missouri as well as the 200th anniversary of the founding of Harmony Mission.
Several other items will be up for discussion so plan to attend this pre-planning Papinville Picnic committee meeting and help them come back from the lost year of 2020.
They are in dire need of new help if the Papinville Historical and Cemetery Association is to move forward and continue to preserve the history of their community and surrounding area. Consider coming and being a part of this community effort. That’s the Papinville Planning Annual Picnic Committee meeting on April 13th at the shelter house.
