Harrisonville woman escapes serious injury after striking deer in the roadway

On June 14th around 9:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Route D just south of East 281st Street in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 59 year old Sandra L. Bartlett of Harrisonville, Missouri struck a deer that was in the roadway.

Sandra L, Bartlett sustained minor injuries and she refused medical treatment at the scene of this accident.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by J's Southland Tow.
