Nevada man injured in two vehicle accident south of Nevada

On June 24th around 9:32 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident around 5 miles south of Nevada on Stockdale Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 1982 Honda CM450A Motorcycle driven by 67 year old Richard W. Starbuck of Nevada, Missouri was rear-ended by a unknown vehicle that fled the scene of the accident.

Mr. Starbuck sustained minor injuries and he was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
