Oklahoma man injured in Vernon County Crash

On June 29th around 7:20 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of I-49 near the Nevada city limit.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Jaguar driven by 20 year old Eduardo Meza of Muldrow, Oklahoma ran off the roadway and struck several trees.

Mr. Meza sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by TCB Tow of Nevada.
