From the City of Rich Hill

We have received numerous questions regarding Osage Valley taking over the electric. Here are some answers to commonly asked questions.

The Electric Crew will do a final read on electric meters on Monday July 26th. On Tuesday July 27th Osage Valley will be your electric provider and will be in town changing meters. Please expect a short power outage while they change your meter.
 
You will still receive a normal utility bill on August 1st for your consumption from June 15th - July 15th. This bill will be due as normal on August 15th.
 
Amber, Utility Billing Clerk, will then begin working on applying deposits to accounts, you will see this on your bill due September 15th. This bill will be your water, sewer, and trash from July 15 - August 15th as well as your electric service with the City of Rich Hill from July 15th - July 26th.

Please remember the City of Rich Hill still provides your water, sewer and trash billing. You will still receive a monthly bill from the City of Rich Hill due on the 15th of every month with shut off on the 20th.
