Obituary - Eldon Dean Webster

Eldon Dean Webster, age 69, of Clinton, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Eldon's wishes were to be cremated. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM at the Vansant-Mills Chapel on Thursday, October 21, 2021with visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. 

A remembrance dinner will be following at The Eagles Lodge. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Eldon Webster Memorial Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Eldon Dean Webster was born on January 9th 1952 in Henry County, Missouri.

Eldon was a jack of all trades. He worked for electrical union 20+ years. He owned Webster’s Contracting for 5 years doing plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling. He helped run Eldon’s upholstery with Shirley and Raymond Mothersbaugh.

Eldon enjoyed fishing and golfing with best friends Dickey (Passed April 2020) and Jim. He also loved camping, barbecuing , traveling with the love of his life Joyce, riding his motorcycle, relaxing outside, working in the yard. But most of all spending time with his family.

Among survivors is his wife Joyce Carolyn (Stocking) Webster, his son; Jerry (Bobbiejo) Webster of Clinton, Missouri, his daughter; Amber (Webster) Coleman of Clinton, Missouri, his son; Shelby Webster of Bolivar, Missouri, 5 grandchildren Hailey, Eldon, Garrett, Andrew, and Skyla, 1 brother Danny Ray Webster of Clinton, Missouri, 1 sister Alice (Arthur) Collins of Clinton, Missouri.

Eldon is preceded in death by his parents; Orvile and Zelma Webster, Step-Father Walter Goff, 4 brothers; Jerry, David, Joe, and James, brother-in-law Raymond, 4 sisters Beaulah, Dorothy, Linda, and Shirley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
