Crissy Newcome, 39 of LaCygne, Kansas passed away Friday, October 29, 2021. Cremation, with private family services to be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (816-657-4400). Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com

Crissy Lorene Newcome was born August 27, 1982 in Kansas City, Kansas to Bud and Ruth Freeman Newcome.

Crissy was a beautiful, big hearted woman! She was always thinking of her family and friends. She had so much talent, and could do anything, and she did. From crafting, crocheting, fishing, and camping, Crissy accomplished it all. She loved making people laugh, even when they were having a bad day, always putting a smile on your face. Just walking into a room with her in it, made everyone smile. Crissy always made the best of the worst situation. Having being diagnosed with cancer in August 2016 she fought her hardest for 5 years. She covered the pain of her cancer so nobody would feel sorry for her or feel her pain.

Crissy was an amazing wife, mother, sister, nana, and friend who touched so many lives and will be missed dearly and live in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by great-grandpa and grandma Thompson, her grandpa Jim Keating, grandpa Clyde Newcome, grandma Sue Sanders, and cousin Dallas Freeman.

Crissy leaves behind so many people that she loved dearly, but most of all she loved her husband Stephen “Tank” McGuire and her kids, Christopher, Paige, and Stevie, along with two grandchildren. They were her entire world. She is also survived by her parents, Bud and Ruth Newcome, sister Amanda Newcome, brother Cody Newcome, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
