Obituary - Joseph W. Barron Jr.

Joseph W. Barron Jr., age 65, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 surrounded by his loving daughters at home.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Rock Brook Church, 1715 E. 175th Street, Belton, Missouri 64012.

Joseph W. Barron Jr., age 65, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 surrounded by his loving daughters at home.

Joe was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 27, 1956 to Joseph W. Barron Sr. and Lillian (Brown) Barron. After graduating high school, Joe honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1977 to 1983. Joe worked hard in achieving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from ITT Technical Institute in 2009. In life Joe was a humble man, devoting many years to serving the communities he was a part of. He was a member of the KC Toastmasters Club, speaking publicly and empowering others. Joe worked in the Ozanam Orphanage, worked with youth in the Kansas City area, and would often volunteer time to read to children in hospitals around the area.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sr. and Lillian Barron; and son, Jason Hupp Sr.

He leaves behind his two loving daughters, Rebecca Schaefer (husband Adrian) and Elizabeth Barron; and son, William Myles Brown V.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice, 4501 College Blvd #250, Leawood, Kansas 66211 or Rock Brook Church as addressed above.
