Louisiana man seriously injured in UTV accident in rural Osceola

On December 2nd around 1:35pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County along with St. Clair County Sheriff's Office responded to a UTV accident on private property around 6.5 miles on NE 230 Road in rural St. Clair County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the the 2017 Polaris Ranger driven by 26 year old Caleb A. Russell of Baton Rouge, Louisiana skidded off the left side of the roadway and impacted a tree. This caused the UTV to overturn and eject the driver and pinning him under the vehicle.

Mr. Russell sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was life flighted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
