Loyd was born January 1, 1937 in Green Ridge, MO, the son of Thomas and Katherine (Fisher) Williams. Loyd was a military veteran, joining the Navy after high school. They attended Calvary Baptist Church in Adrian enjoying the fellowship and worship.
