Obituary - Henry Frese

Henry E. Frese "Hank", age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday January 28, 2022 at home in Belton, Missouri. Graveside services will be held at 2pm, February 5, 2022, at Desoto Cemetery, 34500 W 87th Street, DeSoto, KS 66018. Services under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (816-657-4400).

A time of visiting, and fellowship with the family will also be held February 5, 2022, from 3pm-5pm, at the DeSoto VFW Hall #6654, 33725 W 84th St, De Soto, KS 66018. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com

"Hank" was born November 23, 1937 in Aliceville, Kansas to Henry and Emilia Frese. He married Julia Mae Gulley June 23, 1962.

Hank enjoyed a career in the commercial printing and commercial/industrial photography, which included working for the Kansas City Star typesetting department, a number of industrial printing companies, and served as corporate photographer and printing department manager for King Radio/Bendix/Allied Signal/Honeywell. He loved trains, planes, and automobiles, and all things photography. Hank and Judy took pictures and video of hundreds of weddings from the 1970s through the 1990s.

He served on the Deacon Board at Full Faith Church of Love, in Shawnee Kansas for many years.

Hank was preceded in death by his oldest brother Jerald "Jerry" Frese, and daughter in law, Fran (Costin) Frese.

Survivors include his beloved wife Julia "Judy" Frese, daughter Lauraine G. Black (Ward) of Belton, Missouri, son Rick Henry Frese of Grant City, Missouri, daughter Amy L. Gardner (Kurtis) of Flowery Branch, Georgia, six grand children, Weston Black (April), Julia Abcejo (AJ), Wyatt Frese, Ethan Frese, Mitchell Gardner, Christopher Gardner, and one great-granddaughter Hadassah Black. He also leaves behind three siblings, Mabel Clemens, Richard Frese, and Juanita Gagne.
