Aaron Joseph Skiles, age 43, of Warsaw, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 25, 1978 in North Kansas City, Missouri the son of Vickie Butcher and Terry Skiles.
He grew up in Liberty, later moving to Warsaw where he attended school. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1996. Aaron was a varsity letterman in football, receiving honors at the conference and district level. He also participated in the drama department and was always considered one of the most caring and compassionate students on campus. He went on to attended college at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri and was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity.
Aaron worked in construction most his life and was currently employed at PlumbCo in Warsaw until his health prevented it.
He is survived by his mother, Vickie Bittiker, of Warsaw, his father Terry Skiles, and his wife Marsha, of Liberty, Missouri, three children; Lorena Riordan, Derrick Kramer-Skyles and Sonya Skiles, all of Independence, Missouri, his sister, Kelly Jacobs, of Warsaw, two nieces Mackenzie Gemes and Shelby Gemes, two nephews Wyatt Gemes and Austin Gemes, his ex-wife, Jamie Riordan, of Independence, Missouri, numerous aunts, uncles cousins other relatives and many many friends.
A celebration of his life will be held by family and friends at a later date.
