Carol met the love of her life, Joe Davis in Harrisonville, MO. They were married for 63 ½ years until Joe passed away in 2019. They raised a son, Todd, and a daughter, Jill, in Blue Springs, MO.
Carol had a creative spirit. She was an avid interior decorator and homemaker. She enjoyed crafting and decorating for Christmas. Carol was featured by the Kansas City Star newspaper Christmas Homes Tours. She loved the outdoors, doing gardening and landscapes. She had a great eye for unusual folk art and antiques and loved to tell stories about all of her great finds.
In retirement Carol and Joe designed and built their dream home in the mountains near Pagosa Springs, CO where they lived for 18 years. Recently they returned to the homestead so they could be close to family.
