We will open March 26 for the season. We won't have everything ready, it is too cool for some things to be outside...it snowed a few days ago.
The greenhouses are pretty well full and we still have dozens of seed flats to transplant and hundreds of specialty annuals to pot up. Like any business, there have been shortages. Some plastics ordered months ago aren't here, same on some seeds.
A greenhouse is just a farming operation in many ways, and like farming some costs have increased more than the five percent I consider normal. For the most part, everything looks pretty good.
One of my favorite Bible verses says I planted the seed, Apollo's watered them, but only God can make them grow. Some times I have to remind myself that I am not totally in charge of what happens. See you all soon! - Michael G's Greenhouse
