Many enjoyed her "more-the-merrier" hospitality for over eighty years. She loved to laugh, play games, and cook for all who entered the warmth of her home. Those who called her Mom, Gram, Donie, Dee, and friend will greatly miss this woman of deep faith.
She was born in Orlando, Florida, in 1935, where she eventually met and married B.G. Brown. They were married 54 years before he passed away on July 2, 2008. They have three children: David (Elisa), of Dallas, Texas; Debbie (Jim), of Chilhowee, Missouri; and Danny, of Buffalo, Missouri.
Diane is survived by her children, nine grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Carrsville Cemetery, Chilhowee, Missouri. A memorial and reunion with friends and family is planned for April 16, 2022, at 11:00 AM at her sons home (43 SW Route 58 Centerview, MO. 64019). Please feel free to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Carrsville Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home.
