Herbert D. Myers, Jr. age 80, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at home.
Private family services will be held.
Herbert was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 29, 1941 to Herbert D. Myers, Sr. and Dora (Audsley) Myers. Herbert graduated from high school and began his career in the construction field. In the summer of 1985 he was joined in marriage with his loving wife, Evelyn M. Parks on June 14th. In life Herbert had a passion for his family, art, fishing and home remodeling, was president of the Southern Clay County Jaycees in Kansas City, Missouri, and owned and operated his paint store, “Paintin Place.”
Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Sr. and Dora Myers; and brother, Will Myers.
He is survived by his loving wife of over thirty seven years, Evelyn Myers; son, Patrick Myers; two daughters, Kelly Johnson (Duke), and Angela Myers; two sisters, Nancy Marshall and Kathy True; five granddaughters, Georgia Myers, Daphne Dembowski, Devan Vernold, Alexandra Allen (Ben), and Abigail Foust; and two great granddaughters, McKaela and Victoria.
