Linda Marie Morris was born August 13, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Henry and Mary Deeds Bursby. She was united in marriage to James Morris. Throughout her life Linda worked as a CNA in various care facilities in the area, Nevada, Medicalodge of Butler, Adrian Manor, and Northfield to name a few. Her hard work was also evident on the family farm and in her dedication and love of the dogs she bred and raised. She was a member of the Prescott Baptist Church and blessed many of the members and guests with her extraordinary bread. Her homemade bread, rolls, and cinnamon rolls would make your mouth water.

When Linda wasn’t working or baking you could find her enjoying various “B” movies on Netflix. She may very well have been Netflix’s biggest and only fan of the genre. Linda was never one to pass up an auction or garage sale bargain, a fishing trip to the river, or basking in the sun on a cruise ship.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Rebecca. She is survived by her loving husband Jim Morris of the home in Butler, children, Carla Maynard, James A. Morris (Sherry), Robert A. Morris, Kelly M. Miller, Sara Simene (Edward), Aaron W. Morris, and Timothy J. Morris.

She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and siblings, Mary Perdue, Debbie Keirsey, Calvin Patterson, Betty McGuire, Sam Bursby, Robert Bursby, Alfred Patterson, Jess Patterson, and Justin Patterson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
