New Assistant Principal named at Clinton Middle School

The Clinton School District is pleased to announce that Jake Kenney has been selected as the next Assistant Principal at Clinton Middle School.

Mr. Kenney currently serves as the assistant principal at Henry Elementary School, a position he has held for the past eight years. Jake, a 2001 graduate of Clinton High School, began his career in education 16 years ago, 12 of those years dedicated to students, staff, and families in the Clinton School District. Mr. Kenney’s proven ability to lead and build relationships with students and staff, made him the perfect fit for this administrative opening at Clinton Middle School.

I am excited to have Mr. Jake Kenney as the new Clinton Middle School Assistant Principal. With his experience as the assistant principal at Henry Elementary, he has developed strong relationships with the current parents and students at CMS. He has a strong background in developing relationships with school and community members and will be a huge asset in the continuing growth in excellence at Clinton Middle School,“ says Brian Wishard, Assistant Superintendent.

Jake is looking forward to continuing his work in the Clinton School District. "I’m excited about the opportunity to grow professionally and to keep the momentum moving forward at Clinton Middle School, as well as the entire district. I’m looking forward to working again with many of my former students, building relationships with them, and helping them grow and become successful leaders at Clinton Middle School. I’m also excited to work alongside the amazing educators at CMS, and assist them in the great work they do everyday with our students.”
