Mary Anna (Roberts) Wareham was born on September 20, 1941 to Orval L. Roberts and Etheal Mae Tullis.
Mary graduated High School in 1959 from Calhoun, Missouri. Mary married William D. (Bill) Moomaw on October 3, 1959 and to this union three daughters were born, Brenda Sue, Lorrie Ann and Christina Kaye.
Mary was baptized on May 25, 1975 at the Allen Street Baptist Church and later joined Northeast Baptist Church in Clinton. Mary was a homemaker, and worked as a telephone switchboard operator, and worked as a Hairstylist for over 35 years. She owned and operated her own salon, Scissors and Clippers for many years, then working in area shops until retirement.
Her hobbies included crafts, reading, flowers, spending time with family, bowling league, dancing, birds, and sewing. She married James (Jim) Lee Wareham on August 7, 1993 at Northeast Baptist Church and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include her daughters; Brenda Smarr of Deepwater, Missouri, Lorrie Engel of Clinton, Missouri and Christy Foster (Joe) of Warsaw, Missouri. A stepson, Jim Wareham, Jr. (Kym) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, two sisters; Shirley Meyer of Clinton, Missouri, Betty Ross (Hal) of Clinton, Missouri, one brother; Orval Lee Roberts, Jr of Clinton, Missouri, 6 grandchildren; Dustin Smarr, Amber Collins, Nathan Smarr, John Kyle Engel, Kelsey Ballew, Kaitlyn Ballew, 4 step grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Etheal Roberts, a brother Bob Roberts, 2 sons-in-laws; Charlie Smarr and Johnny Jim Engel, 2 sister-in-laws; Laverne Roberts and Barbara Roberts, and her nephew Perry Witt.
Arrangements have been entrusted with Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
