Mildred B. (DeLozier) Marksberry, 97, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday evening, June 24, 2022 at the CoxHealth Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo. She was born May 20, 1925 in Clinton, Mo., the daughter of W. D. and Joanna DeLozier.She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth A. Marksberry on September 5, 1943. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2004. Mildred was a homemaker and a long time Avon Representative. She was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church, former member of the Quick City Baptist Church and Urich Baptist Church. Mildred enjoyed fishing, canning what W. D. grew in the garden, various hand crafting, and always taking care of someone. Surviving are one son, Gary Marksberry (Diane), Columbia, Mo.; three daughters, Patricia (Marksberry) Winkler (Dennis), Clinton, Mo., Pamela (Marksberry) Swezy (Gary), Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Barbara (Marksberry) Latifi (Ali), Nixa, Mo.; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Englewood Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.
