Stanley A. Cislo, age 94, of Deepwater, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp, Missouri. He was born on March 14, 1928, in Montague, Massachusetts, the son of John and Sophie Glaszo Cislo.
He was raised in Massachusetts and graduated from South Amherst High School in 1945. He joined the army shortly afterwards and served his country proudly. He returned to Massachusetts and on February 12, 1950, he was united in marriage to Adeline Czarnecki in Turners Falls, MA. They made their home in many places and unto this union one daughter was born. He retired while they were living in West Chicago, Illinois. Later they moved to Deepwater, Missouri, to be closer to the lake.
Stanley loved to fish and he also built and flew many model airplanes. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Warsaw, where he attended as long as he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Adeline, in 2013, two sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his daughter Valerie (Jim) Studer, of Warrensburg, Missouri, four grandchildren, Greg (Lourdes) Wicinski, of Tampa, Florida, Heather (Mike) Shea, of Westerville, Ohio, Jamie (Joanne) Buckley, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Kristina (Adam) Craig, of Portland, Oregon.
He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Sandra, Stephen, Eric, Andrew, Jordan, Abby, Ali, Zachary, and Michael, two great-great grandchildren, Jessica and Jenson, other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri, with memorial services to be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
