Strong to severe storms possible north tonight

A few isolated storms may develop this evening, but the best chance for storms will be after 9 PM tonight.

Storms may become severe with damaging winds & hail being the main concerns. 

The tornado threat is low, but can't be ruled out. Flash flooding is also possible where multiple rounds of storms occur.

Winds up to 60 mph, hail up to quarter-sized are the main concerns. The tornado threat is low. 1-2 inches of rain is possible which could cause some flash flooding.

A map shows the area with the best chances for severe weather. Areas along and northeast of a line from Falls City, NE to St. Joseph, MO to Columbia, MO have the best chance for severe weather tonight.
