Freeman man arrested after fleeing police

At approximately 0130 hrs this morning a deputy on patrol attempted to stop an unlicensed motorcycle. 

The motorcycle failed to yield to the deputy and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit was northbound on I49 at a high rate of speed. At 307th street in Cass County the bike attempted to exit the highway. The rider lost control and was ejected from the bike and took off on foot.
 
A K9 from Bates County and from Cass County began to search for the subject. The subject was located a short distance from where the bike came to rest and was take into custody. The subject was taken to the Cass County Hospital for minor injuries and then transported to the Cass County Jail on his outstanding warrants in Cass County. His warrants were for resisting arrest and fleeing from law enforcement.

The subject was identified as 25 year old Kyle Roderick of Freeman Missouri. Charges of resisting arrest, fleeing to elude, possession of controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a felon is being sent to the Bates County Prosecutor in relation to this pursuit.
