He married Carol Jean May and she preceded him in death in 2011. Dallas was raised in El Dorado Springs and served in the U.S. Army in Korea and Germany until receiving an Honorable Medical Discharge. He moved to St. Louis where he worked at and retired from the Veteran Administration Office.
Dallas moved to Schell City and operated Brown’s Corner Service Station for several years and has resided in Nevada for the past six years. Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; and a sister, Valeria Curry and is survived by a brother; Doug Brown (Johnna) Corpus Cristi, TX; sisters, Lacretia Matthews, Newton, KS, and Christine Carpenter (Larry) Nevada, MO; grandchildren, Anthony Stires and Jamie Stires; nieces and nephews including niece, Cheryl Jones of Nevada and nephew, Todd Fetty of Nevada. Many other extended family and friends.
Memorial Graveside services with the U.S. Army and El Dorado Springs VFW Post 257 Military Honors will be Tuesday 10:30 a.m. July 12, 2022, in the Clintonville Cemetery in El Dorado Springs with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating.
