He was born June 14,1936 in Richland, MO. To Charles Builderback and Maude (Lyons) Builderback. He was united in marriage to Pearl (Decker) Builderback in 1960. From this union was born Riley Builderback and Lisa (Builderback) Scalf. Then in 1970 he was united in marriage June (Hewitt) Builderback, from this union was born Amy Builderback and Rebecca (Builderback) Steyer.
Jacob was a very hard worker, he would always help anyone in need, he worked various jobs throughout his long life in a variety of fields.
Jacob was a member of Parks Chapel Baptist Church in Tightwad and was baptized in February of 2004, he served as a bus driver and trustee and was always available for any need that arose. Jacob was an integral part of building the fellowship hall and other needs around the church. He loved the church and the Lord.
In his younger years he was an avid fisherman and hunter, he had a love for all animals. If he ever came across a stray they came home with him, he especially loved his last favorite girl Missy.
Jacob was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, 5 sisters, his first wife and numerous friends.
Jacob is survived by his wife June of 52 years of the home, Riley Builderback Holden Mo., Lisa (Builderback) Scalf Warrensburg Mo. Amy Builderback Tampa, FL. Rebecca (Doug) Steyer Clinton Mo., grandchildren Jessica (Jesse) McDowell Killeen TX., Jami Ray Warrensburg, MO. Jackie Ripley Killeen TX., Cassie (Blake) Merrell Pleasant Hill, MO. Charles (Jessica) McCormick Omaha NE., Brandie (Mark Hampton) Steyer Daytona, FL., Emily Steyer Clinton MO. , and numerous great grandchildren, he is also survived by 1 sister, Martha Burch Osceola, MO as well numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
