Obituary - Pamela Mitchell

Pamela Mitchell, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her home in Clinton, Missouri. Pamela's wishes were to be cremated. A private family service will be held at a later date. 

Memorial contributions can be made to the GVMH Foundation Radiation Clinic or the Clinton Senior Center and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Pam was a lifelong Clinton, Missouri resident and grew up in the First Baptist Church in Clinton, Missouri. She loved her family and was always doing thoughtful things for those around her. Pam had an endearing personality, quick wit and sharp mind. She was strong willed from her first breath to her last which was a trademark of her personality.

Pam loved all games from the game shows on TV to playing cards around the kitchen table - from a handheld poker game to a casino in her younger years. She Loved the Kansas City Royals, camping, being outdoors and traveling to warmer climates.

Her grandchildren lit up her world. Pam was known among her family as the favorite aunt and to many of her daughter's friends, as second mom. She was the place that Stacey and Kelli always called home. Pam will be dearly missed by so many.

Immediate family survivors are her daughters; Stacey Anderson (and David) of Clinton, Missouri and Kelli Buckner (and J.R.) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, her brother, Robert “Buck" Rhoads of Clinton, Missouri, her lifelong best friend, Linda McSparin of West Virginia, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, countless nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her husband, William E Mitchell, her parents, H.G. and Lovell Rhoads, 1 sister (Catherine) and 3 brothers (James "Jim", Harold "Dusty", Ray).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
