Oklahoma man injured in Bates County motorcycle crash

On July 20th around 9:02 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a motorcycle accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 near mile marker 121 in rural Rich Hill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 2021 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 79 year old Arthur L. Roster of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma attempted to change lanes across uneven asphalt, driver lost control and the vehicle overturned on its right side ejecting Mr. Roster before coming to rest in the median.

Mr. Roster sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
