Donna Rhea Dahman, 84, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at KC Hospice House with her family by her side. A Celebration of Life service will be held on August 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Adrian Methodist Church, 202 Main St., Adrian Missouri 64720. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145, where she received impeccable care and was treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

Donna was born July 19, 1938, to Fred and Mary (Patton) Shriver in Jamesport, MO. Donna graduated from Jamesport High School at 17 as Valedictorian of her class. Although she spent a few years working at North American Savings in Grandview, MO, her most important career was taking care of her family and home. She never knew a stranger and always had kind and encouraging words to share. No one came into her home without being asked, "Are you hungry?" She was a humble person and the little things in life made her the happiest. She loved cooking, reading, garage sales, pretty flowering plants, watching The Golden Girls, and spending time with her family. She was always available to listen to a friend and share a hot cup of coffee. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved bragging about being a great-great-grandmother. She was a devout Christian and was a member of the Methodist Church. She lived her faith and had no doubt where her eternal life would be. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; and her beloved daughter, Karen Dahman. She is survived by her sons: Bob (Susan) Dahman of Rockaway Beach, MO; and Frank (Nora) Dahman of Harrisonville, MO; and her daughters: Debra (Jay) Stockwell of Forsyth, MO; and Sherri Hough of Gladstone, MO. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Donna was also loved and adored by many who came to know her and called her Mom, Grandma and friend.
