Mark Edward Grenoble, age 67, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on April 25, 1955 to Kenneth and Shirley Grenoble in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
He grew up in Sayre, Pennsylvania and in 1972 Mark enlisted into the United States Navy during the Vietnam War where he served until his discharge in 1975.
Mark moved to Warsaw, Missouri where he began working for Fajen Gunstock. He later worked at Wal-Mart for 10 years where he was the assistant manager.
He began working for Benton County Central Dispatch in 2001 where he went from a dispatcher to supervisor to the assistant director. Even after his retirement in 2018, he continued on a part-time basis as a dispatcher and advisor. He was instrumental in implementing Benton County Central Dispatch’s School Resource Plan for emergency response within the schools.
Mark was also a Level II Crisis Negotiator, who let a team of dispatch hostage negotiators within the Benton County 911 Center, which in 2014, received 2nd place in a Missouri Statewide Negotiation Challenge.
Mark attended Warsaw Bible Church where he enjoyed being on the Security Team. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed owning his own archery shop and shooting in 3-D tournaments
He is preceded in death by his father, as well as his close friends, Owen Fassett and Pam Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Grenoble, of the home, a daughter, Aubry Grenoble and her boyfriend Coulten, of Sedalia, Missouri, one granddaughter, Lennox Burns, his mother, Shirley Grenoble, his close friends Mike and Jeff Fassett, brother in-laws, sister in-laws, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Warsaw Bible Church with Pastor Jason McCray, officiating. He will lay in repose on Monday August 8, 2022 at the Reser Funeral Home from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M.
