83rd meeting of these old Cass County sports rivals

The Harrisonville Wildcat Football team will take the short 11 mile trip north to play ancient rival the Pleasant Hill Roosters at Eklund Field on Friday night. This will be the 83rd meeting on the gridiron between the two school's. The first game was played in 1924.

The Wildcats have yet to win a game this year and will be facing a tough challenge Friday night as the Roosters are undefeated and coming off a huge 63-7 win last week against Lafayette.

Harrisonville has played more games against Pleasant Hill than any other program in it's history. Harrisonville holds the lead in the series 50 wins, 26 losses and 6 ties.

Reminder Mid America Live will have all the Missouri State High School Football Scores posted on Friday nights! Be sure to check them out! Thank you to our High School Sports sponsor State Farm of Butler Agent Kellie Davidson!
