During regular session of the Butler city council meeting last week, it was revealed that Clearwave Fiber will soon be offering an option by providing ultra fast data speeds with very affordable packages ranging from $55 to $85 a month.
This certainly will be met with enthusiasm as varying speeds and intermittent outages from current providers has been a hot topic for some time.
Clearwave is committing to deploying 100% Fiber internet service to 500,000 homes and businesses across the country by 2026 and more information can be found online at www.clearwavefiber.com.
It was revealed that the annual financial audit had literally no errors and all decimal points were in the right place, according to Kim Pearson representing the Dana F. Cole & Company.
Other highlights from the meeting included guest Kala Maxfield who confirmed the announcement that Clearwave Fiber will soon be available; guest Osegi Hei who pled for transitional housing in Butler; and guest Jacob Shipley regarding a dispute regarding a fence on his property.
It has also been duly noted that Butler welcomes Turner Henderson as the new code officer as seen here. Henderson is native to the Butler area and says he’s looking forward to “working with the city of Butler and citizens as well”.
Remember the Butler city council meets on the first and third Tuesdays, 7 pm upstairs at city hall. The public is highly encouraged to attend.
