1. Two more ladies have graduated from our program. We are very proud of the year they spent rebuilding their lives. Pray for them as they launch into the next chapter of their lives.
2. The kitchen has been totally renovated (pictures to follow). Thanks to the generosity of Adrian’s Lions Club and a few private donors. We are set for the next generation of residents and staff.
3. Greenwood Fellowship Church and some of their volunteers have upgraded a nasty old bathroom and our playground area. Thank you!!!
4. And lastly, but certainly not least - we purchased a house and property here in Adrian that will serve as transitional housing and much more for our ladies as they graduate for years to come.
This has been a dream of ours since day one. It is a huge step of faith as well as a huge undertaking (#renovationproject)
It will take some elbow grease, prayer and support but it will serve our community for years to come.
If you own a business and would like to find out more about MO state NAP tax credits or if you would like to just make a donation to help make this dream become a reality you can message me or contribute through our website Lily House.
In the four years (and change) the doors have been open we have helped 26 moms and 61 kids start a new life free from addictions and abuse.
Here are a couple of pics of part of our crew and the house we just purchased. Thank you to Kent and Charlotte Gutshall. We will love the place your family has called home for three generations. It will be filled with joy and children's laughter for years to come.
