Three Colorado motorcyclist injured after crash on I-49 due to uneven lanes

On September 8th around 11:40 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a three vehicle motorcycle crash in the southbound lanes of I-49 near mile marker 122 around 2 miles north of Rich Hill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2021 Harley Davidson driven by 51 year old Turhan L. May of Colorado Springs, Colorado lost control on uneven lanes and overturned, ejecting the rider. Two more Harley Davidsons both attempted to avoid striking the ejected rider and traveled off the roadway, overturning and ejected both riders.

Turham L. May, 44 year old Joshua M. Lewis and and 43 year old Warrick R. Green all of Colorado Springs, Colorado were all three injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.
