Update: Rich Hill woman seriously injured in crash in south Butler

On September 27th around 10:43 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Butler Fire Department and Bates County EMS responded to a one vehicle accident on 49 Loop just south of I-49 off of Orange Street in south Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2014 Dodge Avenger driven by 32 year old Cierra L. Barton of Rich Hill, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck and fence and tree.

Cierra L. Barton sustained serious injuries and she was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
