A reminder to everyone that the City of Harrisonville, MO and Cass County are currently experiencing moderate drought conditions which means that any small fire can turn into a big fire quickly. Fortunately this grass fire posed no immediate threats to residences and structures.
A big thank you to the Central Cass, West Peculiar, East Lynne/Gunn City FPDs for their assistance. The cause of this fire is currently under investigation.
