"My mother was my best friend and mentor. She ran a radiologic technologist training program that I entered in the early 70's. She was a Fellow in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, and I have her Fellow pin and ASRT certificate in my office.
I was told a long time ago that you treat every patient like they are your grandparents, or parents or siblings. To always be kind to them, because you don't know the problems they are going through.
I've done that for the 49 years I've been in the field of imaging. That's the most rewarding part of my job, to make someone's day a little brighter, a little easier."
